Privacy policy

Last Updated: December 21, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use our Chrome Extensions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding our software operations.

This policy applies to the following extensions:

  • One Shot SEO Extension
  • Email Finder
  • Screenshot Recorder & Capture Screenshot
Core Privacy Principle: We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. Our extensions operate entirely locally within your browser.

1. No Data Collection

We have built our extensions with a "Local-Only" architecture. This means:

  • No Remote Servers: We do not operate a backend server to receive your data.
  • No Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) or tracking pixels.
  • No Account Required: You can use our tools without creating an account or providing personal details.

2. How We Handle Data (Local Storage)

All processing happens on your device. Here is how specific data is handled for each tool:

One Shot SEO Extension

This extension analyzes the HTML (DOM) of the webpage you are currently visiting to provide SEO metrics (such as meta tags, headers, and link health). This analysis is performed instantly in your browser's memory. The data is discarded immediately after you close the extension popup.

Email Finder

This extension scans the text of the current webpage to identify publicly visible email addresses. Note: We do not cross-reference this data with private databases, nor do we upload found emails to any server. The results are displayed only to you for your productivity needs.

Screenshot Recorder & Capture Screenshot

This extension captures visible pixels on your screen or tab. The resulting images or video files are generated locally. When you "Save" a screenshot or recording, it is saved directly to your computer's hard drive. We never have access to your recordings.

3. Permissions Usage

We request the minimum permissions necessary for the extensions to function:

  • activeTab / Host Permissions: Required to analyze the current page content (for SEO analysis or finding emails) or to capture the visible screen area.
  • Storage: Used to save your user settings (e.g., "Dark Mode" preference) locally in Chrome's storage.local API.
  • Downloads: Required to allow you to save your screenshots or SEO reports to your computer.

4. Third-Party Services

Since our extensions function offline or locally, we do not share data with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or external processors.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or operational requirements. Since we do not collect email addresses, we recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
