Gemini Omni Video Watermark Remover
Remove a visible watermark from a video exported from Gemini Omni without sharing with anyone else.
Gemini Omni produces video with a minimal logo in the corner in each frame. This tool marks that mark, removes it one by one and returns an MP4 at the same resolution and sound — all in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
The true look of Gemini Omni's Watermark.
Omni's watermark is not applied as an overlay on top of an existing export; instead, it is composited directly into the pixel data at the time of the export, using alpha blending, which involves mathematically blending two images together, rather than overlaying one on top of another. That's why cropping the corner or blurring it, tends to either cut into the frame or leave a visible smear when playing the video, not when it is paused at one frame.
A proper clean up is the exact opposite of what is done in a generic patch; it is the reverse of a patch.
This Tool's Approach
- Select your MP4. Single file, maximum of 50MB for each file.
- The reversal is run locally. The tool processes the video, finds the area of watermark on every frame and recovers the original pixels under the watermark based on the inverse of the blend Omni applied to the image. Throughout, audio is left untouched.
- Download your MP4 that is being cleaned. The same resolution and frame rate, same audio track, no watermark.
No progress bar as there is no upload. No account. No compressed 'preview' version to gate a full quality download.
The Specifics
- It is just a video without audio, in .MP4 format. There is no image support, no other formats of video containers, if you need to export something in a different format, convert it to MP4.
- It will be video by video. Processes each file as its own file – not sweeping a batch to detect.
- 50MB size limit. All the processing takes place in your browser and not on a server, which means that you have to accept that you have limited memory available to process the information. 50MB is a reasonable limit that prevents the tool from hanging or crashing in the middle of a run on a typical laptop or cell phone.
- There's no data that leaves your device. All of the following will be taken care of on the client machine: reading the file, searching for the mark, reconstructing the frames, exporting. It would still work if you turned off the Internet after loading the page.
Provide reasons for this in particular for the business of Omni Exports.
Omni Output tends to go into edits quickly — it's been used for small format clips, its been incorporated into a bigger cut, or it's passed off without the editor taking an in depth look at each frame. A nice watermark may look great on the screen when you're watching a video, but not so nice if it's in the corner of a completed video being released under another name and/or brand.
Most video editors don't do such a good job on the mark, as it gets baked into the pixels and not layered as another object — either a blur or a crop will cause the frame to be damaged or leave behind an inconsistent patch where there's been motion behind it. The only thing that will not "fade out" when playing back, is to reverse the blend, not just pause it.
This doesn't work for:
In short, this is what it means — and it's easy to assume that means there's no trace of AI generation: "watermark removed" is the equivalent.
- Note: This is NOT a deletion of SynthID. Gemini Omni also places an invisible "provenance" signal within the pixel values, in addition to the visible logo. There, it is there to withstand regular editing, and it is not something a visible-watermark program can alter — nor is that the aim at that point.
- This will not fix video clips that have severely compressed clips on top of the watermark area. Results in that part of the area may not be as clean as if you were to run it on a new export if the source file has been re-encoded aggressively (fast) before you do this step.
- This is not a disclosure "trick". The requirement to mark content as AI-generated is not removed from a platform, publication, or client, it's simply about how the frame will look; it doesn't affect the content.
