When Google Veo creates a clip, it leaves a small 'Veo' logo in the corner, that's also done by Veo 3 and Veo 3.1. This tool displays that mark frame by frame and removes it – totally locally – in your browser. No uploading, no server and no processing queue to wait in.

What Veo is, and why it has a watermark on it.

Veo is the AI model Google has built specifically to generate videos, in addition to images. It's what enables many of the realistic, video-generating clips that most people create with the Gemini app, Google Flow and Google AI Studio. All versions (Veo, Veo 3 and the latest, Veo 3.1) feature a visible sparkle watermark, typically in the corner of a clip, making it easy to spot as an AI-generated video.

That's a helpful piece of information — not always a helpful pixel — particularly when a clip heads into an edit, a client deliverable or upload to a platform where the mark will vie with the actual content.

How to Use It

1. Select your MP4. A maximum of 50MB per file.
2. Processing runs locally. The tool finds watermark on each frame and recovers the pixels below it – without uploading or sending anything from your device.

The Specifics

• Videos are only available in MP4 format. Other containers are not supported yet – if necessary, convert to MP4 first.
• It is possible to view one video at a time. The files are processed separately, not a batch sweep across them, to maintain a reliable frame tracking.
• Maximum file size of 50MB. This limit is not a coincidence; streaming the video inside the browser uses the memory of your computer, and otherwise it would stall or crash halfway through the processing if your computer is not powerful enough. The tool is kept reliable by 50MB as it does not accept large files that it is not accept large files that it is not capable of completing processing.
• There are no uploads, not now and never. All detection, tracking, removal and export are done in the client. It is possible to disconnect from the internet after the page loads, and it will still function.

It’s important to track a frame by frame basis.

Veo's watermark is permanently placed in a specific area, but the footage that is scrolling under it is not — there's a blur or a static crop to that corner that takes off an important portion of the frame when something scrolls through it. The result will not only hold up on the single paused frame, but on each frame in the film.

There are several common causes for this.This is often provided for certain reasons.

• Client/agency deliverables. A clip created with Veo's AI and the watermark still visible will appear unfinished and unprofessional, even if the clip is actually quite good.
• Social and ad platforms. Many platforms will mark content as "made with AI" or cap reach on content with the visible mark — creators re-exporting Veo clips to TikTok, Reels or Shorts may want the mark removed before their videos even get uploaded.
• Editing workflows. If a watermarked clip is dropped into a larger edit, then the watermark will be carried into each edit as long as it is not removed at the source first.

Let me be clear about this, as some of the tools in this space overclaim the possibilities of watermark removal:

• This won't delete SynthID. Google actually adds an invisible SynthID signal to Veo's pixel data, aside from the visible Logo. It is specifically designed to be resilient to normal video editing operations such as re-encoding, trimming or compression, and this tool isn't going to mess with it.
• This is not a way to deceive people into thinking that this is AI video when it isn't. Taking the logo off from a visible frame alters the appearance of that frame, rather than the filmmaking process that created the footage. While the on-screen mark is removed, a platform or client that mandates disclosure of an AI-generated video will still need to comply with this requirement.
• This doesn't remove the file level metadata or file provenance signals, such as C2PA content credentials added at export. It only works with the pixels visible in the window of the frame — no other pixels.
