While the Nano Banana model clearly adds a sparkle to consumer exports, the position and size of the mark can vary slightly between versions, and differ between the different surfaces that display the model (Nano Banana app, AI Studio, and third-party apps that use the API; these don't necessarily crop, resize, and re-compress the output in exactly the same way before you download it). Unlike other versions that rely on a fixed marking position, this version identifies the mark as it's given to you.

In fact, SynthID is specifically engineered to withstand typical editing operations such as cropping and re-saving, and SynthID doesn't try to edit it, it's designed to work with the visible mark only.
• Does not delete file metadata. Some exported also include provenance information in their file metadata. This tool is designed to process the content of the pixels, not metadata fields.
• Not a disclosure ' workaround'! If the platform, publication or client specifies that an image is to be identified as an AI-generated image, this is all about the content, not whether a logo is included in the image. When the badge is removed, the look of the image will change, but not the source of the image.
