  • File Processing: For tools that require file uploads (e.g., Image Compressors, PDF Converters), files are processed either entirely within your browser locally, or securely on our servers. 3. Data Collection — Paid Extension Services

The Gemini Watermark Remover Pro Chrome extension uses a freemium model with optional paid plans. The following data practices apply:

  • Image & Video Processing: All watermark removal processing happens entirely within your browser. No images or videos are uploaded to any server — not ours or any third party's.
  • License Key Validation: When you activate or deactivate a license key, the extension sends a request to our server (oneshotseo.com) containing only: your license key and a minimal device identifier. This is used solely to enforce the single-device activation policy. We do not collect browsing history, usage patterns, or any other personal data through this process.
  • Payment Data: When you purchase a Premium plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Dodo Payments (our third-party payment processor). We do not directly collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers or banking details. Dodo Payments collects your email address to deliver your license key and transaction receipts. Please refer to Dodo Payments' Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.
  • Server Logs: Our payment API endpoints log minimal operational data (timestamps, error codes) for debugging and abuse prevention. These logs do not contain personal information and are retained for a limited period.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Your data stays yours. For all extensions listed above, the following principles apply unless otherwise noted:

  • Local Processing: All core processing happens entirely within your browser. No images, videos, or user content is uploaded to external servers.
  • Local Storage Only: Extension data (settings, preferences, saved items) is stored using Chrome's local storage APIs (chrome.storage.local / chrome.storage.sync) and never leaves your device or Chrome account.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: Our extensions contain zero analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or telemetry. We have no visibility into how you use them.
  • No Third-Party Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data from our extensions to any third party, for any purpose.
  • Minimal Permissions: Each extension requests only the minimum browser permissions required for its core functionality. No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.

Exception — Gemini Watermark Remover Pro: The paid version of this extension makes network requests to oneshotseo.com solely for license key validation and subscription management (as described in Section 3). No user content (images/videos) is ever transmitted.
