Gemini Omni Watermark Remover

Decrypt an image without uploading it to any site and remove the watermark Gemini Omni.

When using the Gemini image generation system, a small imprint is placed on the corner of each image. This tool will identify that mark and delete it without needing to upload it to a server, store it on a third-party's hard drive, create an account, etc., all within your web browser. You choose a file, it runs on your file system, and you download the answer.

How is Omni's Watermark unique?

The Gemini Omni mark is not a sticker that is placed over a completed image, but is composited in to the pixel values as they are created through alpha blending. That is because the watermark and the image are mathematically combined as a single layer, so a simple cut or blur is likely to cut into the image, or leave a faint hint of double image behind after it has been removed using a standard tool.

Cleaning will not occur – this tool is not a ‘reverse' and will not change that specific blend.

How to Use It

  1. Select your image. Up to 10MB in PNG, JPEG, JPG or WebP format.
  2. Processing happens locally. The tool identifies the region of the watermark and restores the original pixel values below the watermark. No upload step – no waiting for the others, just for your own device.
  3. Download the result. The same resolution, same file quality but no watermark.

Picture by Picture. No account, no daily-limit countdown, no compressed preview in between you and the real download!

The Specifics

  • Image only. It has been designed for still images created by the Gemini Omni tool. Does not stream video.
  • PNG, JPEG, JPG and WebP. Other formats aren't currently supported.
  • The max size of an uploaded file is 10MB.
  • Maximum one picture per session. Runs one file at a time, maintaining precision of detection, instead of running one pass on a batch of files.
  • Nothing is uploaded. All reading of file, searching for the mark, pixel reconstruction, export — happens in the client (your browser). No data is sent to a server at any time.

The advantages that transcend the “It looks cleaner” advantage.

Sometimes the watermark on an image is only a visual problem:

  • Ad platforms. Many ad networks will not accept or even display ads with a visible AI generation watermark – if that’s the case, you’ll be spending money on an image that will not be seen by your audience.
  • Client deliverables. A client who receives a mockup or concept image or product render with the obvious AI stamp in the foreground is likely to change their perspective on the image, even if it is a great image.
  • Decks and Landing Pages. A watermark in the corner of a hero image is a subtle feature that viewers don't want to miss but easily notice.

None of that is an excuse for not revealing where disclosure is important, namely the image is AI-generated, (see note below). It's because a logo in the corner of the file is not always the result desired.

What this does not do:

  • Does not delete SynthID. Also, Gemini Omni includes a hidden "provenance signature" in the pixel data, in addition to the visible logo. That signal's purpose is to stand out during normal editing and this tool doesn't affect it — nor should it.
  • It isn't a substitute for disclosure requirements. Any platform, publication or client that asks for the image to be marked as AI generated will have it removed if you remove the image from this section, but not change the image's appearance. This responsibility doesn't end with the removal of the logo.
  • It's designed to match the output of Omni's image. Results may differ depending on the image used if it was sourced from a different Gemini tool or from a different AI Studio model that had a different watermark pattern; this tool is tuned to use Omni's watermark pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

So, what exactly is "Gemini Omni"?

The image and video generation feature of Gemini is called Omni. The images it creates have a slight visible watermark impressed in the bottom corner when generating an image.

Will this be applied to watermarks from other Gemini or Google AI apps?

This tool is designed to watermark images using Gemini Omni's image pattern. Results elsewhere are not guaranteed as marks may be different or have a different blend.

Have my picture been posted on a server?

No, absolutely nothing is running on the server, it's running in your browser. Your file is never transmitted anywhere.

What kinds of pictures can be displayed?

PNG, JPEG, JPG and WebP. At present there is no other formats supported.

What's the maximum file size?

10MB per image.

Is it possible to work on more than one image simultaneously?

Not at this time — as designed, one file at a time with this tool for maintaining accuracy of detection.

Will this impact on image quality?

The reconstruction is only performed for the watermarked area. The rest of the image is left as-is.

Will this delete SynthID?

No. This will delete the logo that is displayed on the screen. This does not affect the SynthID, which is an invisible signal that is embedded in the data of the pixels.

Is it free?

Yes.

I have a Gemini Omni video that I need to clean, but not an image — is there a tool for this?

Yes, video watermark removal (MP4, up to 50MB) is done by a separate tool, which was created specifically for the frame-by-frame video output of Omni, because of the difference in the way video and still-image watermark removal is done under the hood.
